The Knight/Family of the Month is an honor awarded for efforts above and beyond the average call of duty. With the knowledge that a Knight does not act alone in his efforts, recognizing his family for their contributions towards this honor is very important. Therefore, this award is really given not only to an individual Knight, but his family as well.
June 2010 - Dwane Berens
Dwane Berens served as the Deputy Grand Knight for 2009-2010, successfully co-chaired the 2009 Auction, and chaired the Procurement Committee for the 2010 Auction. Dwane's personality is infectious and his leadership style allows a place for everyone in the decision making process. He was elected to serve as Grand Knight for the 2010-2011 fraternal year and has already made diligent progress toward many of his goals as our Worthy Leader. Dwane's wife Darlene has contributed much of her time and talents to the Knights and there is no doubt her strength fortifies Dwane's unbridled enthusiasm.
