Council members also participate in numerous parish activities as Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, Sacristans, and in church maintenance, as well as in the community with our youth and in the Pro-Life movement. Members also regularly visit nursing homes and volunteer at the VA Hospital. The involvement of our members is very impressive, and activities are being added to the list all the time.

After both masses on Sunday, May 9, we sponsored a Mother's Day Breakfast in honor of those special people in our lives. As usual the food was awesome and the help of Boy Scout Troop 288 made our work easy and enjoyable. Many of our Brother Knights were in attendance to help and eat, and we would like to thank everyone of them and their families for their continued support of all our activities and events.
Please check out the Photo Gallery for pictures of this successful event.

On May 14 we had our Annual Dinner and Auction. This year's theme was FIESTA and included a wonderfully catered mexican meal by De Leon Foods. Auction items, to name just a few, included gift certificates for a variety of food and entertainment, vacation rentals, hand-crafted goodies, and many, many surprizes. We would like to thank all of you that donated items to the auction. With your help we were able to raise needed monies for various Parish and Council programs.
More to come....

Our local Boy Scout Troop 288 held a BSA 100th Anniversary Breakfast after both masses on February 14. This breakfast was co-sponsored with our council and all donations will be used by the Scouts toward the purchase of a new camping trailer. Many came to support our scouts and enjoyed a wonderful meal of eggs, sausages, french toast, pancakes, fruit, juice, and coffee. It was a great centennial celebration. On behalf of Scout Troop 288 we want to thank everyone in attendance for your gracious donations which lead to a net profit of over $1000. It's events like this, working together with the youth of the community, that really bring home the true purpose of the Knights. Thank you again for all your support and efforts. We couldn't have done it without you!!!
