Officer Duties
Depending on the position, officers are either elected or appointed to serve their term in office. To be a council officer, a Knight must be a Third Degree member of the Order. Typically, a nomination committee forms in April or May to consider prospective candidates. Elections occur in May or June with newly elected officers beginning their duties on July 1 of each year.
