About the Youth Program
The youth program at St. Joseph Parish is a place where youth from around the area, both Catholic and non-Catholic alike, come to meet other Catholic and faith-filled youth. It is a place where youth learn what it means to live a Christian lifestyle, to be part of a faith community, and where they can learn the history and meaning behind the traditions and beliefs of the Catholic faith.
Regular youth meetings for Jr. High youth (grades 7 & 8) are on Wednesday evenings from 7-8:30pm. Regular youth meetings for Sr. High youth (grades 9-12) are on Sunday evenings from 7-9pm. Our activities also include a monthly youth Mass on the second Saturday night of each month (except in February) at 5:30pm. The majority of the ministries at these Masses are run by youth, but it is not a Mass exclusively for the youth. All ages are welcome. Afterwards, there is a social activity for the Sr. High youth of the parish. Other activities fill our year including retreats, ski/snowboarding days, service projects, etc. Check out the links to our schedules and other activities.
For more information or to get registered in our program, call the parish office and ask to speak to Michaela Kearns, the youth ministry coordinator, or email her at mkearns@dioceseofspokane.org.
